path.Base

Syntax

path.Base PATH

path.Base returns the last element of PATH.

If PATH is empty, . is returned.

Note: On Windows, PATH is converted to slash (/) separators.

{{ path.Base "a/b/c" }} → "c"
{{ path.Base "/x/y/z/" }} → "z"
